Adorable Doodle Puppies
Doodles are all the rage, and with good reason. These furry friends have a low-shedding, often hypoallergenic coat and are goofy and playful companions. They are intelligent and learn quickly. However, like any dog breed, doodles require regular exercise, training and enrichment to maintain their health and happiness. In addition, doodles need to be properly socialized to make them comfortable around children and other pets. Doodles are not suited for everyone, so it is important to know if this type of dog is the right fit for your family.
What is a doodle puppy?
A Doodle puppy’s personality can vary widely based on the parent dog breed and how much of the Adorable Doodle Puppies is carried by each parent. For example, if a poodle is crossed with a Labrador Retriever or Golden Retriever, the puppies may have different personalities. Likewise, the size of the poodle (standard, miniature or toy) will affect how big the offspring Doodle will be.
When selecting a Doodle puppy, ask about the breeder’s health and genetic testing policies. Reputable breeders prioritize the health and well-being of their dogs and are concerned about avoiding hereditary diseases in their offspring.
Also, ask the breeder to provide a puppy history and what the litter has been fed. If you are going to change your puppy’s food, do so slowly over a period of two weeks to avoid gastrointestinal stress. Lastly, purchase food and water dishes that will be appropriate for your pup’s size. Small Doodles will need to use a small, low bowl; larger ones will prefer a larger dish that can be filled with water to prevent bloat.
